Digital Commerce Specialist

What will you do?

Within the Digital team, you are responsible for instilling an e-commerce mindset in our organization and developing digital commercial solutions for our B2B & B2B2C webshops for the healthcare market. You will work closely with colleagues who are active across Europe, our Digital team, as well as our sales, marketing, and category management departments, and of course, our customers and partners.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Digital Commerce Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and service roadmap for the commercialization of our e-commerce platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing compelling commercial propositions for new services and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of customer onboarding and value creation. Additionally, you will be the key point of contact for important commercial and sales stakeholders, applying a data-driven and commercially-oriented approach. You will collaborate closely with the commercial teams, providing valuable support in constructing business cases and accurately assessing the anticipated value. Skilful stakeholder management will be crucial for effectively achieving your objectives and driving success in this area.

You are responsible for identifying customer pains and gains with a focus on our webshops, identifying existing digital commercial services that utilize available gains, and tackling pains by translating them into digital commercial services. You rally the commercial teams together around digital initiatives, align stakeholders and get buy-in from the business by building business cases, and support the business case with data and user research.

What is your background?

You are strong in building and maintaining relationships. You understand how to steer and guide stakeholders towards the most valuable direction for our ordering platforms and utilize data to support your decisions. You are a skilled communicator, problem-solver, and know how to work with deadlines. You are a driven personality who likes to take responsibility and wants to continuously develop yourself, your relationships with stakeholders, and e-commerce opportunities for our platforms.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and several years of project management experience in digital environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital commercial services, product marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of identifying pains and gains, building digital commercial services, and delivering results.
  • Experience working in healthcare e-commerce and/or technology industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem solving, commercial and technical attitude, and know how to involve people and motivate them to take action.
  • You can make the translation between customer feedback, customer wishes, project scope and timelines and you know how to convince and bind internal and external stakeholders.
  • It is a benefit if you have worked in environments with complex IT systems in which e-commerce is combined with and dependent on backend ERP and PIM systems.
  • You are practical resilient, and you work in a structured way. You write and speak Dutch and English flawlessly.
