Then take a look at our position e-Business Specialist! In this position you will work in a challenging and changing environment where Healthcare, digitization and innovation go hand in hand. You do this together with a team consisting of 22 enthusiastic professionals, who form the e-Business department.

What are you going to do?

As part of the e-Business team B2B team you are jointly responsible for all digital activities in the Healthcare market in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. You shape the demand for digital solutions on the B2B portal and proactively advise and support the business. You also contribute to translating manual processes into end-to-end solutions on the portal, in which the interest for the customer - the healthcare professional is always number one. You work closely with e-business colleagues who are active globally, the Digital IT team and the Sales and Category Management departments. You also work closely with the Data Science, Customer Service, Supply Chain and IT departments to increase the e-business mindset within the organization. In this position you will report to the Teamlead e-Business B2B.

  • You will proactively participate in the development of e-business products and strategies, and their integration into the overall e-business objectives of Mediq Global.
  • You provide input for the development of a strategic plan for the Mediq B2B Order, Information and Service portal.
  • You work closely with the commercial roles including Sales and Category Management, who are, in addition to the end users, important stakeholders.
  • You act as a 'business analyst' of the portal for managing the backlog and creating user stories.
  • During the sprint you are the sparring partner for the developers and tester, you steer towards the delivery of the desired end result, and you supervise the rollout in the organization.
  • You take initiatives to collect and assess customer and product information for the purpose of strengthening e-business activities; also think of user surveys together with our UX specialist; or to a visit to a healthcare institution together with our field staff.
  • You maintain the platform, manage and configure parts of the content, and you are involved in solving issues as a 3rd line knowledge specialist.
  • You support the business with digital issues.
  • You are able to supervise larger digital solutions in the role of project manager; the definition, design, development and deployment.
  • Together with the e-commerce manager, you develop programs and initiatives for customer retention acquisition for more online transactions.
  • Finally, together with your colleagues, you contribute to initiating a digital transformation within Mediq Global.

What is your background?

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a digital environment.
  • A completed bachelor degree, preferably in an e-Business direction, or a completed associate degree with more relevant experience.
  • Experience or affinity with the development of E-commerce and digital customer solutions.
  • Experience with scrum & agile project management, knowledge and insight into new forms of communication and trends in the field of e-business.
  • You master the English language just as well as the Dutch language and you feel comfortable in a global environment.
  • You go off the beaten track and think out of the box with a healthy dose of logic to arrive at innovative solutions.

e-Business & Innovation

The e-Business team, consisting of one e-Business manager and 25 professionals, is together with the digital IT team, responsible for all digital activities within the organization in the Netherlands and Belgium. This includes content management, analytics, web management of a range of web portals (B2C + B2B) and merchandising for the Healthcare market in the Netherlands and Belgium.
