What are you going to do?

As an M&A Analyst within Mediq you will work on complex and international M&A projects – from strategic portfolio extensions to entirely new business areas. The M&A activities are ranging from general acquisitions, divestments, venture capital investments but also partnerships or joint ventures as well as carve-outs and post-merger integration.

Within this role you will support all M&A process in the Mediq Group across the different process phases. From target screening (create long-lists and short lists in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders) to post-merger integration (assist the integration executive to set-up the Integration team, structure integration etc.) and the intermediate phases: financial valuation (preparation of financial models and valuation) and due diligence.

You are responsible for all necessary internal approval material and support in drafting relevant documents (NDA, indicative and final offer, SPA etc.).

You will report to the Head of Corporate Development & M&A In this position you will work together with colleagues form different functions and departments as well as external consultants and service providers. You will have direct contract and interactions with senior management across Mediq and its subsidiaries.

What is your background?

You have completed university education preferably in Finance you have excellent analytical skills. You have profound financial planning-, market analysis- and valuation expertise. You have a good track record in project management and project steering in M&A processes. Fluent in English (verbally and written). You are self starting and able to act excellent solo but more importantly a good teamplayer. You have profound Excel and Powerpoint knowledge.

Finally, in De Meern you will find the management of the Mediq Netherlands organization and the Dutch staff departments such as finance, HR, communication and quality. The nice thing about working at De Meern is that you work at Mediq's head office, where everything comes together. You get to know about 500 different employees and all aspects of our business here.

As the company continues to evolve, we seek business development through our strong local commercial teams, category management and sourcing.
