Make the difference as a

PMO Global Transformation

At Mediq, we execute an ambitious transformation journey encompassing most of our business. Our mission is to deliver the right and the most efficient outcomes to European Health care by providing products, services, and solutions. You will be driving setting up and running the PMO to constantly monitor and challenge our progress (process, timeline, financial impact) across the strategic initiatives. That means extensive exposure to senior stakeholders across the organization and provide critical decision material to senior management meetings, strategy and budgets. It will also be a great development opportunity for a strong financial/data driven person to accelerate development with commercial and strategic exposure. You are an experience profile who will join the Transformation team, led by the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), a member of the global management team (ExCo). Day-to-day, regional transformation directors (currently 4) are working with regional management teams and global functions to drive forward strategic initiatives.

What are you going to do?

The objective of the PMO is to design, establish/continue, and maintaining tracking of the strategic priorities so there is visibility to the senior management while ownership is solidly anchored in the regional teams. You need to constantly have ‘finger on the pulse’ on progress, and you do this by collaboratively challenge the responsible for each initiative and escalating to the CTO when you see the need. Lastly, you will drive the reporting to the Global Management team and the Board and work closely with the strategy, budget development, and performance dialogues to ensure the progress of the transformation agenda translates into a concrete and measurable effect on our P&L and longer term value creation.

The key stakeholders for this role will be the global and local finance teams led by the cluster CFOs and the Group Director of Finance and Control, the senior executives and project owner of the strategic initiatives and the transformation team, and you will work closely with them to establish a shared view on the progress of each initiative. To advance in this role, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment with many shifting priorities, where you bring strong rigor and attention to detail on consistency in follow-up without creating a ‘tracking for the sake of tracking’ setup. In addition, you will have to learn quickly about the key drivers across a number of business areas.

This role will see a lot of senior leadership attention and can be a great step for an accelerating career within Mediq.

Further responsibilities are:

  • Design and maintain the tracking of the global transformation agenda in Mediq
  • Be the ‘spider-in-the-web’ to constantly understand where the performance is across the major transformation initiatives
  • Independently challenge progress and figures based on your analysis (familiarity with COGNOS and financial reporting is a clear advantage).
  • Drive a rigorous yet simple way to track the impact that limits workload and creates focus on forward-looking tracking while ensuring visible financial impact
  • Pickup analysis yourself to understand the drivers of figures.
  • Design, prepare, and present read-outs of progress to senior management and supervisory boards
  • Challenge performance on strategically critical initiatives across the entire value chain of the company

What is your background?

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Your background could be from financial analysis/control, a financial consulting firm, other figure heavy roles
  • Previous exposure to interacting with business levels based on data
  • Relevant education background
  • Drive to combine financial understanding with business impact, with a steep learning curve in senior stakeholders management.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary levels, in line with market standards
  • Flexible/Hybrid ways of working policy, working in the office and the rest of the week working from home
  • 26,5 days annual holidays with the opportunity to buy or sell holiday days
  • A culture that empowers growth and development, offering training and learning modules
  • A culture that celebrates diversity, equality, and individuality
  • A dynamic team with a purpose. Truly proud of and focused on healthcare workers, patient care and improving the quality of lives for patients across Europe
