PMO Manager Digital & Innovation

The PMO Manager Digital & Innovation supports the Head of Digital building strategic plans supported by multi-year roadmaps and business cases. He or she pro-actively works with the Cluster Management Teams through the strategy and budget cycles, starting with the implementation of current plans. The PMO Manager Digital & Innovation will overlook all projects running in the Digital, Innovation and Data Science space, will be a sparring partner for the project teams working on transformational and innovation projects and might take an active role in selected key projects. The PMO Manager Digital & Innovation works closely with the Innovation department, and ensures that innovation initiatives are developed and scaled. The PMO Manager Digital & Innovation will be a true business partner for the Head of Digital. Mediq advocates an agile/scrum way of working in the Digital and Data Science areas. The PMO Manager Digital & Innovation ensures the organization is trained appropriately and facilitates the usage of available best practices and tools.

What are you going to do?

  • Actively supporting the implementation of various strategic digital, innovation and data science projects throughout the Business Units
  • Engage with Business Unit management through development of sound business cases, project plans, resource management etc in order to secure successful projects
  • Drive the development of Mediq’s development approach, which is based on agile/scrum methodology and liaise with the network of digital service leads and digital core leads within the Business Units
  • Ensure the organisation is trained in the Mediq digital solutions, in order to utilise best practices and tools

What is your background?

  • You have a University degree.
  • An all-round strong profile: analytical, strategic as well as a hands on approach in your implementation and support to the business.
  • Preferably a strategy consulting background, working in an international environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, take ownership and responsibility for work and in order to get things done
  • Ability to motivate, influence and challenge various stakeholders (ranging from Executive Committee, Management Teams as well as operational project teams and investors)
  • Sound and proven experience in project management processes and tools (preferably agile/scrum)
  • Capacity to deliver outstanding work to tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload
  • Enthusiastic to work with others in a team and to learn and grow with the business
